Nikon Pro User… The Full Day Seminar
I had the idea a few years ago that while it is sensible to go onto a course dedicated to the camera or the accessories you use, it is also helpful sometimes to have a crash course on how to apply those tools to specific tasks, and the idea for my ‘Nikon Pro Seminars’ was born.
Whilst designed primarily for those looking to get the best from Nikon equipment, so producing imagery to a professional standard, it starts from the ground up for those starting out. But is also a good refresher for those with more experience that would like to confirm they have the best workflow/settings.
I share my experience of using the equipment in many different situations, and with my ‘real world’ analysis of what works best and what not so well. Plus those hints and tips that you dont see written down that delegates seem to appreciate, even when that goes against ‘official’ documentation and suggestions.
They have been very well received, and I believe they significantly shorten time needed through trial and error to get the results you are after, making your photography less stressful and more rewarding.
We utalise a camera as a tool to its full potential, and maximise what lenses and software can do around that starting point, across a variety of common photography applications.
Ideal for those who have recently moved to the Nikon system, or are still on the learning curve in a new professional career, through to the enthusiast, who demands of themselves professional quality results. It is also for the experienced shooter looking too make sure they have achieved just what the system is capable of. The content is based around the D3 series, D2 series, D300 series and the D200 camera. Users of other models will also find much of the content applicable.
Please note, while this event builds from the basics to a high level of capture, it is not ideal for those who do not understand the basic concepts of image making, their cameras controls and their positioning. So those new to SLR photography may find some aspects difficult to grasp.
What Should I Bring?
Included will be some live shooting which I undertake to show the principles in the real world. But delegates are encouraged to bring a camera, storage card and lens along, as they will be able to make and investigate adjustments, as various hints and tips are explained.
Upcoming dates & locations:
