Nikon Digital Black & White Photography Workshop (Stage 1-3)
This is a comprehensive course for those working in monochrome on a regular or irregular basis. Working around Nikon’s Total Imaging System of cameras, lenses and software (Nikon Capture NX), plus some Adobe Photoshop and Apple Aperture coverage, it has something for various levels of expertise.

We start with techniques suitable for the beginner, or those simply pressed for time, then move on to accommodate higher knowledge levels, including many advanced techniques.
The ever improving in-camera possibilities are demonstrated, then numerous manipulation techniques and workflow options form the bulk of the day.
Post capture stages start by showing the more common options for creating a monochrome image from a colour original. Then, as we progress, we start too manipulate and work on specific areas of an image, in the ways that a traditional film and darkroom specialist would have done.
The use of third party plug-ins and advice on printing is also incorporated.
Packed with options and alternative ways to create eye-catching black and white imagery, this day is always well received, as it covers in an easy to follow way, much more ground that people anticipate.
What should I bring?
Those attending should bring a camera and mid range zoom or Micro-Nikkor lens, as some simple images will be created during the course as part of the content.
