Shooting A Portfolio In A Day (Stage 1-2)

It could be useful from the perspective of anyone interested in portraits, fashion photography or even wedding and business photographers my find lots ideas to build into their repertoire. The content is relevant regardless of the camera system used, as we look very much at the ‘techniques’ of getting the shots as well as specific camera settings for each brand.
Throughout the day we combine explanation with example images. As we progress I shoot the various styles and situations so delegates can see what can be created, and how this plays out in practical everyday situations. Working with someone new to modeling and looking to expand their portfolio we use ambient light, working of course with whatever the weather provides us with on the day. Then we introduce fill-in flash techniques, a must for any competent photographer.
There is plenty on interior shooting, utalising the everyday options we all have within a home environment too traditional photographic backdrops, as well as the less conventional locations. Throughout we utalise both portable and studio flash lighting.
